What’s special about Ozone water?

Ozonated water is created by adding an electrical current (electrolysis), by which diatomic oxygen molecules are separated from one another. Individual oxygen atoms combine with other O2 molecules to form ozone (O3). Cute. It’s also organic, and waste-free.

Ozonated water has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Is It Safe?

OENKLEN is FDA approved. While inhaled ozone is when ozone gas is breathed in, and it can be harmful to the lungs, ozonated water is safe when used as directed.

The team also states that Ozone neutralizes acidity in the mouth, therefore it is able to kill the bad bacteria, but leaves the good bacteria. Therefore you don’t need to worry about it eradicating oral bacteria that's good for you.

I know we’re not the only ones who had this thought. But, is it safe to drink? If you… you know. Swallow it. Luckily, the FDA notes ozonated water as safe when consuming and coming into contact with food. That’s not to say, make it an addition to your afternoon cocktail.
