The Orbitkey team has already created and successfully completed six previous Kickstarter campaigns. What We Love
1. Sustainability
The leather that will be used in the production of the Compendium is LWG-certified gold-rated leather. It means that the leather is produced in a sustainable way with a focus on minimising environmental impact. The lining fabric of both Compendium and Hybrid Laptop Sleeve is also made of recycled PET.
2. Long Lasting Design
Both the laptop sleeve and the Compendium are made with quality leather, and although vegan, they guarantee longevity. Unlike cheaper finds, like you may discover on Amazon, these covers seem to be able to really protect your devices (the ins and outs of them!), and also protect themselves.
What We Don't
1. Visual Design
We think it's great that the general design outcome is simple, modern, and sleek. We also understand that as a campaign there are certain budget limits. But in the future, we'd love to see some fun concepts with the visual design! Many of us enjoy patterns and bright colors on our sleeves and cases.
Is it Worth it?
With device prices rising, and as we continue to use them more frequently, it's important to take the right precautions in protecting them. Or, we know that some of you take your planners and note-taking just as seriously. The Orbitkey team prioritizes this, and so we definitely think it's worth the support. Just imagine bringing along ONE thing that does it all, instead of packing a separate mousepad, pencil case, cardholder, folder, the list goes on! We encourage the "back".
