What We Love
1. Beginner Friendly
Both the Feeder and Bath are easy to assemble and clean. The camera setup is basic and just like any other bird feeder, you simply hang it on any stable mount or the Bird Buddy Pole (add-on). You don’t need to be super tech-savvy to experience the Bird Buddy!
2. Advanced Camera Feature
Bird Buddy is definitely the first of its kind. The camera captures all movement regarding the feeder and uses AI technology to identify which type of bird decided to stop by. It truly is revolutionary!
What We Don't
1. Product Design
The concept is truly spot on. However, it seems as if the entire bird feeder and house may not be as durable and sturdy as it claims to be. The feeders look like they fit a maximum of 3 small (or 2 large) birds, and could definitely be dangerous if encountered by larger animals. Perhaps incorporating a stronger base or more resting space could ensure better durability.
2. Product Design (cont.)
Another thing to consider is that the Bird Buddy’s products sort of abandoned the traditional birdhouse look. We all grew up with making these out of pieces of wood in our shop classes, or at a craft store where we painted them with fun colors. Could these new modern designs perhaps take away from the true homey and one-of-a-kind feel of the traditional birdhouse?

Bird Buddy can enhance the lifestyle of anyone. No matter where you live, your age, if you had previous experience with bird feeders, etc. This new device connects you to moments you’ll probably never be able to have up close in real life. So much of our time is spent outside, but when do we really bask in the beauty of nature and appreciate all of its intricacies? Imagine discovering some sort of extraordinary bird you may have never seen or knew existed in your area. These are the small moments that can brighten your day, no matter where you are. Technology can not only be used to connect humans together, but also to other forms of life that we share the Earth with.
